Mod NX

The Mod NX case should be compatible with most third-party full-coverage protectors on the market. However, we cannot guarantee that all of them work well with our case as it highly depends on the design and coverage of each screen protector.

We do not recommend installing a back protective film or wrap on the phone itself, as the added thickness may make installing or removing the phone case more difficult if there isn’t enough clearance.

The RHINOSHIELD Mod NX is a modular phone case designed with interchangeable frames and backplates. You can freely switch installation modes according to your needs, and separately purchase frames and backplates in different colors or styles for flexible customization and replacement.
- For iPhone models up to iPhone 14: The backplate and rim cannot be used simultaneously. To switch to standard mode with the backplate, please remove the rim before installing the backplate.
- For iPhone 15 and later models: The frame design is upgraded. When switching to standard mode with the backplate, the backplate can be directly aligned with the clips inside the frame and inserted to complete the installation.

The product itself does not affect your phone’s NFC or wireless charging functions.
However, actual performance can vary depending on factors like the NFC reader’s location, the thickness of any attached accessories, and the power of your charger or wireless charging pad.
We recommend testing based on your own usage.

The RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case standard version supports charging with Apple MagSafe accessories and wireless charging pads.
Magnetic strength may vary depending on the thickness of the phone case. We recommend using RHINOSHIELD’s MagSafe-compatible series of phone cases for the best experience.

The RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case has passed a 3.5-meter drop test and can absorb nearly 90% of the impact force.
The frame is specially designed to reinforce the corners, which are the most common points of impact when the phone is dropped. It absorbs the majority of the impact immediately. If the backplate hits the ground first, its material properties help transfer the force to the frame for additional shock absorption, enhancing overall protection.

For daily cleaning, we suggest using wet wipes. To sanitize, wipe it swiftly with a cloth and a small amount of rubbing alcohol (less than 75%). If you are using a Mod NX with a printed design on it, we suggest avoiding the printed parts while using rubbing alcohol.

The RHINOSHIELD Mod NX case is free from BPA, BPS, and BPF, which are chemicals commonly found in plastics.

Yes! With sustainability in mind, the Mod NX case is made with a mono-material which can be 100% recycled through a dedicated process. The material can then be reused to create brand-new products, making each piece earth-friendly.
